Who is S. Hering?

Sigmund Hering (1899–1986) is recognized as one of the most influential trumpet pedagogues of the 20th century, widely published and studied throughout the world. A trumpeter with the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1925 to 1964, he influenced several generations through his numerous methods, progressive studies, and technical collections, which remain essential references for students and professionals today.
